MyLandlordPA

Terms of service

The agreement between you and MyLandlordPA: what the service is, what it is not, your responsibilities, and how the subscription works.

Last updated 2026-09-27.

1. The service

MyLandlordPA is software that helps a private landlord organise and manage residential lettings in England. It reads documents, keeps records and dates, drafts messages, and, with your permission, contacts the people you choose. It is provided by the company named in the footer ("we").

2. What it is not

  • Not a letting or managing agent. We do not act for you with tenants or third parties except by sending messages you have approved or allowed. You remain the landlord with every duty that carries.
  • Not legal advice. Guides and PA answers are general information about English law, checked at the date shown. They do not replace a solicitor. Possession, eviction and disputes need a human adviser.
  • Not a payment or client-money service. We never hold, collect or move rent or deposits. Payments go to your own bank account.
  • Not a decision-maker. The PA never chooses a tenant, sets a rent, signs anything or agrees a deposit deduction. Those are yours.

3. Your account

You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for what is done under your account, including by people you invite. You must have the right to let the property and to share the data you upload.

4. Ask-first actions and autonomy

Some actions (booking a contractor, ordering referencing, sending a notice, approving a quote, accepting a pet) ask you before they happen. You may switch any of them to "just do it", with a spending limit. Everything the PA does on that basis is done on your instruction.

5. Subscription

Plans and prices are on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled from Settings and are billed by Stripe. Cancelling stops the next renewal; there is no refund for the current month unless the law says otherwise. A free plan may be limited to a number of properties.

6. Acceptable use

No unlawful discrimination (including against people receiving benefits or with children), no harassment, no use to evade legal duties, no uploading of content you have no right to share.

7. Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. We are not liable for losses caused by inaccurate data you entered, missed deadlines where the service warned you, or decisions you made. Our total liability in any year is limited to the fees you paid in that year. Nothing limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

8. Ending

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend an account for breach of these terms. Sections 2, 7 and 9 survive.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and its courts.
